My Little Story

My parents decided to bless me with the awesome name of Tyler, but if you ask my mom it's strictly Tyler-Michelle. Like Mary-Kate. But not really. I used to hate having a "boys name" when I was young but I completely love it now. It's pretty unique! Thanks mom ;)

As a kid, I was never very girly. I was always awkwardly tall and skinny, with bushy thick hair (every girls dream now, right???) I wore jeans and a sweatshirt every day until I hit high school. If only I knew what I know now I would have embraced my "awkwardness" and been more girly and branched out. Oh well… now, as a 20-something year old, is the time for that I suppose! 

I took a full spin on makeup and skincare a few years ago and now it's my complete obsession. I'm constantly researching and hunting for the newest items and what they bring to my (vanity) table. ;) I constantly hear from friends or family "you should really start a blog…" when I go on my rants and raves of what they should go out and try next. So… here I am! 

I also went to culinary school, and have a serious passion for baking and cooking. I tend to try making more healthy dishes and snacks but I fall right back into making delicious buttery, gooey, chocolatey… I'll stop. Pastries! I can't get enough. You'll find from time to time I will share my culinary experiments with ya'll on here so if it's not really your thing… just scroll on by them! 

And finally. The big one. Remmy. The light of my life. The bean to my pod. The hair to my ball. That was weird. But really, she's a hairball. I'm talking about this adorable mutt of a dog whom you will most likely be seeing about once a week. I apologize in advance, she is another one of my obsessions. I got her in 2011 (holy smokes she's almost 3!!) and she's been my little companion ever since. Remmy has the most hilarious non-dog like personality I've ever seen. I'll be sharing some of her funny moments I capture with ya'll so again, if its not your thing… just keep scrolling!
